Anchor & Reporter

Taylor is an anchor at NBC affiliate WWLP 22News in Springfield, Mass. She has been the weekday morning anchor since October 2019. She co-anchors the morning news from 4:30-7:00, Monday through Friday. Her duties include writing and copy editing the news, editing video, monitoring social media for breaking news, pitching daily story ideas, and presenting the news in a way that is easy to understand and enjoyable.

Taylor is also a member of the 22News I-Team, investigating issues throughout western Massachusetts. She investigates, researches, and produces in-depth investigative news pieces that have a direct impact on viewers' daily lives. 

 

Day to day, Taylor covers breaking news and works on special projects.

Taylor was awarded First Place by the Massachusetts Broadcasters in the 2021 Feature Story category. 

 

Previously, Taylor was a multimedia journalist at FiOS1 News in New Jersey. She was a "one-man-band" reporter covering news in the No. 1 market in the country. Taylor hit multiple daily deadlines, switching between breaking news and feature stories. Because of this, she learned to work well under pressure, and can handle multitasking. 

 

Taylor has reported at some of the biggest events in the country, from the Super Bowl in Atlanta, to the March For Our Lives in DC, and the riot at the U.S. Capitol. 

 

Taylor graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
